LEGAL-BERT-TPB-clause-class is a Third-party beneficiary clause detector. This model was finetuned on binary text classification task from pre-trained LEGAL-BERT.

In a legal contract, a Third-party beneficiary clause is a clause that answers the following question : Is there a non-contracting party who is a beneficiary to some or all of the clauses in the contract and therefore can enforce its rights against a contracting party?

The input of a Third-party beneficiary clause detector is a text from a contract (a clause) and there are only 2 possible outputs: positive and negative. Third-party beneficiary clause detector returns positive for an input clause if it thinks this clause is a Third-party beneficiary clause and negative if the input clause has nothing to do with the Third-party beneficiary.
